Terms and Delivery
Orders
All Ellen Wise Couture custom designs are made to order following consultation and fittings. We do sell designer samples from time to time.
Delivery
Because our garments are made to order, please allow 6 to 20 weeks for delivery. When we embark on a project, we will agree to a delivery date. Garment delivery typically takes place in person. Timing is dependent on multiple factors including the complexity of the design, the availability of specialty materials and the availability of the client for fittings. When an order is needed by a specific date, and the deadline can be met within the ordinary course of business, we will do so at no extra charge.
Rush Orders
If we cannot accommodate your schedule in the normal course of business, certain items may be produced on a rush basis for an additional fee if the materials are available. If you have a specific deadline, please Contact Us.
Made to Order, Handcrafted Character
Delicate fabrics, embroideries, and embellishments and are integral components of our garments. Certain perceived variations in the textiles and embellishments between the garment received and as pictured are neither flaws or imperfections. Rather, they are inherent attributes reflective of the handcrafted made-to-order quality and beauty of each garment. These "irregularities" including hand stitching are signatures of individually handcrafted garments and are not flaws. We take great pride in providing the highest quality couture design and construction, and make every effort to satisfy the customer. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us immediately so that we can attempt to rectify the issue.
Fit
We make every effort to achieve excellent fit at no additional cost and as quickly as possible. For custom garments, additional adjustments may be required. If you choose a designer sample from one of our collections and find the style is not as anticipated, the garment can be exchanged for another design, subject to availability. Additionally, adjustments to our designer samples may be possible for a reasonable fee.
Color
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and textures of the garments as they appear on EllenWiseCouture.com. However, because textile textures and colors may be subjective to each viewer, and the actual colors displayed will vary depending on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that textures and colors of purchased garments will be exactly as displayed on your computer monitor. If color accuracy is imperative, please contact us for a fabric swatch.
Returns
As all of our custom pieces are made to order and predominantly hand-made, we do not accept returns of custom made garments. Designer runway samples, trunk shows, and Items from our designer collections can be returned within 14 days of receipt if not worn. Call us to arrange a return or an extension.
Payment
For domestic orders, we accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, money order or personal check (allow up to 2 weeks to clear for personal checks and money orders). International customers must pay by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal, and additional address verification information may be requested.
